Car running like crap

Yesterday my car started sputtering and then stalled. I revved it up again, and the CEL came on.

So I decided to take a look at my CAI which ended up being very damp, dried that off, but the car still has a slight RPM bob when it idles and the CEL is still on.

Any ideas what might be causing it?

is the filter oiled? i know there were problems with oiled filters on our cars

also the engine may just not be used to the new air comming into the engine, and slight bobbing at idle is pretty normal just as long as its very slight

That's probably why his filter was damp....hence why he is getting the hydro shield.

x2 try the AEM dryflow= no worries of to much oil in the filter slowly being sucked up
