Just like the title says. My car is acting funny. Like it seems to bog down low when I have a full tank of gas, but when I have a half a tank it seems to take off better and have just better throttle response and all around better feel. I can still drive it fine but it just kind of pisses me off. I have had this with a focus svt I had back in the day where it did something similar. I took it in and they said it was something in the tune. I still have factory GM warranty till Feburary, should I take it in, will it make a difference? Because it was driving like that when I got it but they said they had to replace a fuel censor so I just figured that was why. Is a custom tune in order?

def take it in....i have the ss/tc model. I know its a diff engine and car but mine was doing the same thing only opposite. It bogged down when i has less that half. Whoever installed my GMS1 fucked it up, and I also had a hole in my charge piping. So it cant hurt to take it in

Maybe the evap surge

 

The evaporate surge solenoid is the main cause for this problem. It's fairly cheap like 35 bucks for the part and takes 5 mins to install.

 

do the symptoms of this also include jerking upon deacceleration or rpm bouncing at idle?
