Catback question

Ok looking at the how tos I dont get why u have to cut the stock exhaust. And do u weld the new one back on where u cut it? It never showed this

right at the rear axle. there is no other way to get the stock exhuast off, if you look there is a seam near there where the factory had to weld

Ok I found out why. You have to cut it to be able to remove it completely correct?

So is the sound overwhelming to where u cant hear the supercharger whine?
