Wow, what a difference! I've never bothered to do this before. Perfect idle, no lunging on take off and unless I'm just imagining things I have better throttle response and a somewhat better pull in the midrange rpms. I didn't have any throttle body spray so i just poured some Seafoam in there and rubbed out the gunk real gently with my finger and repeated the process until that butterfly was as shiny as new. I'd say it needed it after 73k.
