flcobalt, do you have pics of the car underwater?? if the cops came, and if anyone else was there, there is NO WAY that this would have not been caught on camera... if it was running underwater for 4 hours, i bet it would have been on the news...

its not my car to have pictures of. you know when something happens in your family, and you hear about it, and then you call that person and they tell you about it. you dont really ask for pictures and stuff.

Does my cousin have pictures, not sure, but if he did he wouldnt take the time to go to walgreens and scan them and post them on here.

his attitude was basically f*ck cobalts when he had his ebcause he couldnt hit below a 15.3 stock.

Ive just come to conclusion that either the cop or my cousin misinterpretted something that was said. or some of the information at one end or the other was incorrect or there were other factors that were left out that alter the situation.

and im going to apologize to anyone who actually logs on later and takes the time to read 8 pages of garbage. thx.

Again total assessed damages were under his deductible. Yeah i didnt think cars run under water either, but i didnt know if this cars had some kind of engine mechanism that safe gaurds the motor when water reaches certain limits.

All these things are questions i was trying to get answered.
But like the one KID said, its a F*cking stupid question right. so wat ever. doesnt even matter.

i was just trying to learn something about the car that maybe i didnt know.
Well now you know and knowing is half the battle! GOOOOOOOOOOO JOE!

that would have been the first thing i did! get some pictures and post them for everyone to see!

yeah, so it was your cousins car, i get that, if the car still runs then i would say at most the front end was in water up to the intake, no higher than that. fail safe for the car? i dont know about that, if there was one it would shut the engine off that way no water came in.

being that this was theft then i would imagine gm would say go to the insurance company but i think you said his deductable was higher than the bill which is why he took it to gm to get fixed? as in he paid out of his own pocket with no warranty/insurance coverage?

you will have to find out what exactly was damaged for us

Well FLCobalt, over the last year and a bit you have been very busy making threads on CSS.Net (133 to be exact). As a tribute to your on going passion for the Cobalt community, I have compiled a list of some of your finest threads that you have felt the need to share with us.

Some of FLCobalt's Finest moments:

- Whats the biggest BS you ever heard? (I think this thread qualifies)

- To much fuel = bad???

- Converting an LS to an SS

- The Official " I Blame GM" Thread.

- HELP Flcobalt Almost Hit's 14's and Manages to Break the SS!

- Whats a flywheel?

- My brakes are starting to squeak does warranty cover that?

- Is this a real Mod?

- Im SUEING GM !!!

- What is the Definition of a "ricer"

No really.
I really liked the "whats a definition of a ricer" one, i had been hearing that word on forums for a while and always thought it referred to asian cars.

knowledge is a wonderful thing.

thank you for all the constructive comments in this thread. its greatly appreciated.
What is there to possibly be constructive about . Cars dont run underwater dude .....PERIOD . Any car(...well trucks) u see run submerged in water have a air intake like a snorkel that draws air from above the surface . That Cobalt , if it ever even went in the water died the second the water got into the intake .

PLEASE....PUT THE CRACK PIPE DOWN
