dont forget my traps are low because my car is light. jbodies in base model trim are only around 2500lbs. I have a full interior also.

I usually cut 2.0-1.9 60ft times with an non-LSD diff and a 5400rpm launch

but back on topic, i forgot to add I'm pretty sure the 2.4 is an 88mm bore as well.. so if you did want to do a 'stroker' lsj you'd have to have it bored over.. and i'm not sure how far you can go 86 to 88 is a pretty big difference, you may have to swap the 2.4 bottom end outright.

the only downside to the 2.4 is a really crappy rod/stroke ratio. the LSJ on the other hand is damn near perfect in that aspect.

Correct, in order to use 2.4 rotating assembly, you will need to use a 2.4 block. You can any head you want, however.
