I bought the car with an OTTP ecu. Just got myself a cold air intake and its throwing a CEL. Im scared to reset the ecu because my buddy with a Cobb tuned WRX just lost his tune after his battery died Can I do this with the OTTP ecu? Or would I too be screwed?

I'm not sure but you could contact OTTP and they'd probably tell you if you'd lose the tune. Another member will most likely chime in and know.

what code are you getting?

i have reset codes in mine before a lot. i have the ottp stage 2 ecu. nothing happened you will be fine

i dunno if they use hptuners but I have reset my ecu and i didnt lose my current tune.

Im sure its a lean code, when I had just the airbox mod it went in and out because the pipes would keep disconnecting at the joints, now with the CAI its just always on. Ill run it at autozone on monday to be sure

yup its a confirmed lean code. Just spoke to Josh at OTTP, he said the thing needs to be retuned, just resetting it would still result in the CEL
