Contemplating Turbo Swap.
I was contemplating a turbo swap. Trying to keep it cheap, so I am most likely just piecing it all together myself. With that being said, I would like to try and keep my S/C, and use it as a blow through unit. My question is, could you just keep the rotors in place and spinning and just disable/ block off the bypass valve and use the turbo wastegate for boost control? Or is a rotor delete necessary?

The whole point was not having to deal with the whole belt system problem. I suppose getting a dummy pulley would work, but keeping the m62 in place would be easier for me in a DIY stand point.
Also what do you guys think for the turbo? something cheaper. Can't justify spending 1k+ on a gt30 or gt28. 16G maybe?

Yeah, if you're going through all the trouble to just leave the shell there, might as well leave the supercharger there and twin charge it. Gonna' have to re-tune for the turbo any ways.
If you're going full turbo, an adapter plate would probably be best.

I would love to twin charge it, but i have the slightest clue on how to manage the boost from both a turbo and supercharger. Would you leave the supercharger's bypass valve intact and just run purely off the turbo wastegate or boost controller? Plus isnt tuning a twincharge setup a bitch and a half?
Also I am having trouble researching a solid place for oil feed and return lines. Obviously you tap the pan for a gravity fed return, but i have read mixed ideas on finding a feed. Some say that there are 3 bolts on the back of the block that tap into the oil wells and you can use one of those. Some say to drill out the oil filter housing, and I have read others think drilling out the pressure sending unit would work. Where did you tap for a feed Rico, or did you use Hahn's solution?
