I am not aware of street driven cobalts that have these kinds of numbers whether it be a 2.2 or a 2.0. The magazines that are going to do articles on my car would have likely been happy to have heard about such a Cobalt.

I am just dying here, waiting for the engine to get back. The twincharged part is at the point of choosing the proper turbo trim in which to precharge the system.
I am hoping that the engine is on the way home this time next moth.

Once it is all tuned and I have gotten use to the huge jump in power I will be heading to the track with a video camera and call out some unsuspecting prey. I figure I will only get away with it a couple of times before people realize "it's that Cobalt" so I will pick the big boys right from the start.

They got a 2.0 up to 800 whp along with putting it past 200mph. It ran it at the salt flats.
They said they bought everything off of GMs website

They who??? It doesn't help any of us to here that "they" did this. We need proof, a web link, phone #, something so questions can be asked. Again I say that I am not aware of any 2.0 doing these things, unlesst GM has been apart of it. Also, I have been in contact with GM Sport Compact division and there are no Cobalts running at these numbers on a manual transmission.

There have been a few Cobalts on the salt flats that have run up over 240 mph, BUT they are not street cars. His (and mine, when he is out of JBP) is to have a car that is completely street legal, over 400hp and STILL handles well.

EDIT: SoCal Speed did one, but I do not know if it was the SS/SC.
