Completely forgot to update this haha

But anyways, as I said I called Chevrolet Customer Service and he called me back the next day after talking to the dealership. He told me they ordered the part and theres no estimated time for when it will come in, but he said they usually take 1-3 business days. He told me that they will take care of everything and call me when the part arrives to schedule a time for me to take the car in. Then he will call the dealership again and contact me on Tuesday to make sure everything went smoothly.

From everything he said I assumed it would be taken care of under warranty but I needed him to specifically say it so I just asked him directly and he said, "Yes, of course." Thats basically the end of conversation.

Oh and the dealership contacted me yesterday saying the part came in and I scheduled an appointment for 2pm tomorrow.

Hopefully there won't be anymore problems, but I do need to ask about the Power Steering because my light came on for a second on the DIC, Im not sure if it was just because it was recognizing it or because there was a problem but I'll definately get that checked out.

Lastly I just wanted to thank you all again for all the help, and I will update tomorrow letting you guys know if everything went smoothly.

Yea, Im hoping it will be okay.

I got it taken care of today, Im hoping theres a break in period because my car is ridiculously quiet right now... Whats bugging me is I can't hear the SC whine anymore.... I didnt want to beat on the car right away but I got up in the rpms twice to see if I could hear it (only around 5, 5.5k rpms) and it barely whined....

Yea, it seems good, I'm just incredibly paranoid now. It got so bad that there was no pressure coming from the exhaust, barely any flow, it was all coming out of the crack.

It is smoother, but it's not, like it was. You know? And since theres no whine, its making me nervous that theres something else wrong now.

Time will tell. Worst comes to worst, it'll have to be rebuilt and forged sooner.
