Crazy Plan Possible?

Ok. I am wondering if this is possible, and or a good idea, and or if it will add to much power.

I am wondering if it is possible to run NITROUS EXPRESS Intercooler Spray from cobalt addiction, or the NOS Nitrous Intercooler Spray from cobalt addiction on the cxracing heat exchanger, AND run a 50shot of NOS Nitrous Wet Kit from cobalt-addiction.

What would happen if I did this? My temps would be extremely low, but would the car be able to handle it? What would happen to the car? I know the car can stand a 50 shot alone, but what about a 50shot + intercooler spray?

Thanks.

It will work, we had one at the dealer where I worked hooked up on a demo, just the I/C sprayer. Gained quite a bit of power on the dyno with it.

How much is "quite a bit" like 10whp, 20whp, or more? I am thinking about running that, and a 50 shot of nitrous. Do you think this would be considered "safe" or no?

Sure its safe. I wanna say 15-20 HP, but that was about 3 years ago, so I don't really remember. Boost was way up, and low end torque was greatly improved.

Do a trunk mounted 2 gallon resevior and switch to distilled water so you can dump ice in the resevior... then run a 150 shot. Thats what I'm doin with mine

You don't count, you have a race-built bottem end.

What are you using for con rod bolts?

My top end is almost more built than the bottom end

I used the bolts that Crower supplied with the rods. Beefy bolts, torque spec called for 45 ft-lbs (thats a lot for rod bolts).

what do you guys think would be a better idea just a 50 shot, or an intercooler sprayer or both?

With a 50 shot, you IAT2 will probably be in the 30s-40's regardless of outside temp. N2O exits the line at like -280 *F, thats FLIPPIN COLD!!!

A stock LSJ with supporting mods should easily handle a 50 shot. Hell GM stage 3 include controls for a 50 shot!

thats why i thought a 50 shot would be fine. With the mods in my sig, in your opinion would I be fine for a 50 shot, if I was tuned for it?

Pffff, you could probably handle a 65-75 shot with those mods. So a 50 shot (provided its set up right) should be fine for the life of the car!

They wouldn't happen to be the same size as stock bolts, would they? I really don't want to replace the stock rod bolts with stockers, but its looking like I have no choice.

Just use stockers. My "race built" bottom end, employees stock main bolts

For our motors, lets say I wanted to run a 75 or 100 shot, what would I have to "build up". Is it the pistons that we need, or the heads, or a combination of a lot of things. Let me know as I am thinking about doing internals soon. Thanks guys.

If your going to build your motor, see my Vb garage for an exact parts list. If anything is left out, your build will be a failure

With sponsorships and discounts, it ran me about $3000 and still rising. If I paid retail for all the stuff, $6500 easy.

Sacrifice my friend. I haven't had more than $50 in my wallet in over a year, and my account balance usually sits between $0 and $2.50 Not to mention the two maxed out credit cards I have *holds gun to head*

haha, well I just got all the mods in my sig put in within the last week, so I kinda know how you feel. The methanol kit and dual pass are being installed thursday...hopefully its a cheap install. I am recovering from a broken back, hence me not doing the install myself.
