Thumbs down Dented Injen Intake - Do we have to put up with this?

So, I've been talking to Hong at Injen. He says that the design for the Cobalt SS/SC is finalized and all future intakes will be dented. I say that this is complete BS. There has got to be something we can do. I hate knowing that I have a "dented" intake. I would be embarrassed to lift my hood knowing that poorly designed P.O.S is under there.

I know there are some others out there with the "new" dented intake. What can we do about this? I really want a full refund.

This also goes out to Turbo Tech Racing. You did not advertise a dented intake, therefore you should be willing to give customers a full refund.

I'm really disappointed in Turbo Tech Racing and Injen

Yea I really don't like the intake as far as fitment & then the replacement had the dent that really looked like a person hammered a socket against it but I'm done with Injen as far as ever buying any products from them!

I don't hold TTR to blame as they were nothing but willing to please me with all my purchases & I still like dealing with them.

If this injen fails I will replace it with another manufacturers CAI for sure but for now I'll live with the dent & move on

Wow, blaming TTR for what Injen did, and then saying they should give you your money back. Thats kinda low. TTR has done nothing but been great to everyone they've sold a product to. Probably the best company on this site. If you did any reading before buying the intake you would know about Injens new design.

The dent is there to avoid scratching from a bracket attached to the hood.

There is no reason to blame TTR.

I don't get this dent thing. I had my CAI replaced with the new design back in March and there is no dent and no fitment issues. I don't get it.

read this thread... there are plenty of pics in there. Just scroll down the thread and you can see how ugly that dent looks.

I wouldn't blame TTR for it... that's a little too much and not TTR's fault.

Well, regardless of the dent(it does look shitty), is there any change in the dynos? It looks as if the new one is shorter also. Maybe the could have constructively dented it to look better than that?
