Dented Injen Intake - Do we have to put up with this?
So, I've been talking to Hong at Injen. He says that the design for the Cobalt SS/SC is finalized and all future intakes will be dented. I say that this is complete BS. There has got to be something we can do. I hate knowing that I have a "dented" intake. I would be embarrassed to lift my hood knowing that poorly designed P.O.S is under there.
I know there are some others out there with the "new" dented intake. What can we do about this? I really want a full refund.
This also goes out to Turbo Tech Racing. You did not advertise a dented intake, therefore you should be willing to give customers a full refund.
I'm really disappointed in Turbo Tech Racing and Injen

I don't hold TTR to blame as they were nothing but willing to please me with all my purchases & I still like dealing with them.
If this injen fails I will replace it with another manufacturers CAI for sure but for now I'll live with the dent & move on

I wouldn't blame TTR for it... that's a little too much and not TTR's fault.

Well, regardless of the dent(it does look shitty), is there any change in the dynos? It looks as if the new one is shorter also. Maybe the could have constructively dented it to look better than that?

Here's what i recieved from TTR Tuesday.....mine has no fitment problems either...with hitting the hood or the bumber, but it's like 5 mm away from the bumber...but it doesn't touch!!

wow...that does look pretty shitty... thats why i dont buy **** unless i see it... but who would have thought to themselves "Let me see a pic of this intake...it might have a big ass dent in the side of it" ....ur just gunna have to deal wit it...if someone ***** wit u race them... even from 3 car lengths behind u they'll still hear the S/C Whine
EDIT: That guy above me has the perfect engine layout... thats exactly what i want mine to look like...

is does look like someone messed it up . I hate to sound like a dick but is this gonna be a show car or a race car. if you not gonna make it a show car then as long as it doesnt affect performace it really shouldnt matter ? buts thats just my two cents
