devils own meth kit, tuning...
what's up everyone...1st off, just signed up here looking for more knowledge on this devils own stage 2 meth kit i got...
i have a 2005 ion RL...i'll post all my mods...
lfp #60's, zzp 2.7, cobra h/e w/bwoody brackets, ngk 2 steps, kn cai, sms throttle body, gmpp header, vibrant 3" catback, zzp downpipe w/cat, autometer boost gauge, cobalt cross drilled/slotted rotors, power stop evolution brake pads, devils own stage 2, hp tuners (comps. to Ron9919-tuning/installs)
247.0 whp 244.6 wtq
(dynojet 4th gear pull)
turns out when i installed this meth, running 70/30 mix, got i dynoed a week after install...i lost 25whp with my setup!! turned off the kit, gained 25whp...
here's the pics of my dyno runs...

some other things that only 2 people tried to help with on the rl forums said i'm spraying too much in and i'm getting bog...and to just set for less fuel and a lot more timing when spraying...anyone know of the best possible way to tune for these kits?? dyno tune, just get the hpt tuner update and also the best way to tune with hpt...i have no interceptor or wide band...
thanks for any input or suggestions...even if someone is close to my area and can get me tuned for this, i'd appreciate any help...

Well if you lost power there is deff. something wrong what was your AFR durring those runs, that'd help out!
If you got to large of a nozzle it would deff, be causing you to run way to rich robbing you of power!
AND FOR GODSAKE GET A WIDEBAND!

i'm going to put the smaller nozzle on it and see what happens down in MD when we try to tune this bad boy for it...hoping we can get use of a dyno for some #'s and afr reads...
can't believe it though, 25whp!!! but it runs awesome without it on my current tune, but spent a good amount of $$ for this and would like to run it at peek performance, ya know??

I know a buddy of mine, that is running a 2.75 pulley, Intake, Megan Exhaust, and a custom tune, and I **** you not made 197whp because his meth nozzle was causing him to run 10.0-10.1 AFR's at WOT !

when you have to command 14.6 to get 12.0 afr. something is wrong. not enough airflow to warrant the use of a nozzle size he had in there.
the car did 227 on 12 degree's of timing and 11.5 afr on 12 psi. stupid blower settings.
