the blue loctite is the loctite that you can remove the bolt from without to much of a struggle the red loctite is more of a permanant thing so dont use red go blue...o and make sure you just put a drop on otherwise you might have a problem getting the bolts out

see that is the thing i dont like is that it will be harder to take out the bolts in the long run but they did not put any on the blue bolts with my stage 2 kit and tha is what i used to tighten the pully down so i think i am good just gotta keep an eye on there everyonce in a while

I used red lock-tite on my billet-flow 2.7. I didn't need to, just to be cautious. It wasn't too bad removing the bolts but I can't get the stuff out of the theads. I've switched to another hub since then.

if you tighten the bolts good and check the every once in a while you should be fine...when i put on a 2.9 pulley tho i think im gonna just put a dab of blue on to be safe o and if you just put a drop on of blue your safe they will not come out on there own but it wont be like bolt death getting them out just a bit tougher...congrats on the 2.9 pulley man im jealous cant wait to get mine

haha yea i hear the flaming coming haha but i do agree and most people will that it is the safest smaller pulley to run on the stage 2 kit other than going bigger which defeats the purpose of the stage 2 haha but im happy you like it man i cant wait to order mine...going with polished for sure they look so good, and im happy to hear you can feel a diffrence power wise due to it its awesome for only $50-55 now with the stage 2 hub can do alot

EDIT:nates 2.9 is my next purchase because i dont want to put 60lb injector on have something happen and void my warranty with a pulley you can get away with it easily because you can change back to the stock pulley in 15 minutes if need be
