Difference between the ZZP dual pass and GMPP dual pass intercooler?

Is there a difference between the ZZP and GMPP dual pass end plate? The zzp is noticeably cheaper and ZZP seems to have a pretty rep on the site. Can anybody fill me in?

i don't know much about the dual pass end plate, but all i know is zzp is cheap but you get what you pay for. I bought the triple A pillar pod from them and also the AEM wideband guage from them, however the A pillar pod was very cheeply made and the guage didn't fit in it. so i called them and they said they couldn't get the guage to fit eather so they let me send it back. like i said, they are probably one of the cheepest places u will find parts, but you get what you pay for!

ZZP is a great vendor... I've dealt with them on numerous occasions and have always been pleased. The end plate is just that... and end plate. It's a stock GM plate with an extra 90 degree elbow... there's really no way to screw that up...

its probably because its on a core system and they use your core to make a new dual pass... this is just speculation after looking at the site... either way i know where im gonna buy my dual pass from.

dont bash a vendor for something that everyone already knows... zzp doesnt make those pillars and everyone knows that the aem w/b is a bitch to mount... so they did you a favor and returned it anyways and you blame them

ZZP is a great vendor to purchase from, however in all honestly the 3 pillar gauge is not that great, I had a 2 gauge pillar CA one that I sold and bought the ZZP 3 gauge pillar and the CA was far superior in Quality. But I dont think ZZP makes the 3 gauage pillars they buy it and resell them.

Saying that I woundnt hesitate to buy anything from them, quality products, great service,

However the downpipe I bought was excellent and would highly recommend them for future purchases

Sorry, but I can't go with bashing ZZP either, especially when you consider I ordered both of my tranny mounts(prothane solid mounts)from them and 1-They look great in workmanship, and 2- I got the parts in 2 days after I ordered them......How the heck can you bash that?!

I'm running the ZZP header and full 3" dp on my car... I previously had the Intense one on my car and it literally broke in two... I was in a pinch and needed the new DP asap... ZZP had it to me in 2 days as well. After that little fiasco ZZP has my loyalty Not to mention the header and downpipe quality was excellent!

I didn't intend to bash on ZZP, they really are a great vendor but they sell only that pillar and only that guage, you would just think that they would be capable of working together. or if not, say that that piller doesn't support the AEM wideband guage. CA's site atleast sais that their 3pillar guage pod will fit the AEM.

Im not positive, but based on what ive been hearing, it seems the AEM UEGO is like 1 mm larger than a standard gauge....people seem to have trouble mounting it in any of the gauge pods...but either way, ZZP makes some great stuff...starting with their H/DP combo

Correct Hunter... The AEM Uego is slightly larger than typical gauges for some reason. You have to grind away a bit of the edge of the opening to make it fit right on all pods i've tried.

Both the AEM gauge and the pillar pod are made from other people and as stated the AEM gauge is 1mm larger. This has caused some issues and we're discussing solutions.

The products manufactured by ZZPerformance such as exhaust and motor mounts are top quality. The intercooler end plate is a pretty simple piece and is virtually identical from GM racing or ZZP.
