my peak hp pulls all the way through, if I rev to 7k, my peak is generally right at 7k or very near to it. I am not sure on my torque. I am trying to get a level hp and torque across the board. I will post dyno's and graphs and all that good stuff up on tuesday after I do my runs.

remember the formula for horsepower tho..

hp = (tq x rpm)/5252

you are always going to have more torque than horsepower before 5252 rpms, and more hp than tq after 5252. best bet is to tune specifically for a flat torque curve, and not worry so much about peak horsepower

Yup, I am going for the smoothest torque curve I possibly can. Today is the day. The dyno time is from 2-2:30 central give or take. 30mins for 50 bucks, not to bad, and I should be able to get like at least 8-10 runs in.

I can't wait to see what the nitrous can do. I don't know if I am going to spray the 55shot or not. But for sure am spraying the 35shot.

How much timing do you guys feel is safe with a 35shot and methanol. I am using just straight windshield wiper fluid. Possibly some HEET added in for the extra security. Let me know thanks.

Well I had the jets in for a 50 shot and I wanted to start with a 35shot first. I leaned some stuff with hptuners while i was there and spent an hour on the dyno, was only charged 50 bucks. I enjoyed messing around with my torque curve, getting 250 torque to the wheels isn't bad, and neither is the 280whp.

However I am ignoring the dyno sheets and everything as this was for tuning only. I still have some things to tweak out but to be honest, I really didn't gain anything besides more torque, and a much smoother torque curve.

To be honest I don't want to post the dyno sheets because I went from 18 inch stock perelli's to 16inch ridiculous tires. I think that there is a good possibility that the dyno could have been off due to this.

So basically all I am offering up to you guys, is that I have a really smooth torque curve, peak of about 250ish, and almost 280whp.

Another interesting fact is that no matter how hard I tried, I could not hit anything higher then 140's in the iat2's which pleased me. The methanol is doing its job well.

Tuesday I am going back to the dyno shop to test out the 35shot. I didn't want to start with a 50 shot, because I like to always be on the side of caution.

ALSO as another update I believe my fuel pump is dieing. What would the signs be of a fuel pump dieing? I was driving, and the pump stopped functioning. I tried to start the car and the pump would not prime at all. I am 99.99% sure its the fuel pump, just wanted to make sure the symptoms sounded right.

I am sorry to disappoint you guys, I wanted to run the 50 shot, but I like to be safe.

so did you actually spray? What size tires are you using? 280whp and 250wtq sounds stupid for a 50 shot. Go blow your car up. LOL.

Who cares what the numbers say. Every dyno is different.

Here is my dyno run on the OTT Stage 1. I have an intake, GMPP manifold, ZZP dp, Magna Flow catback and CX Racing Dual Pass HE.

I have seen other dyno charts from other people with simular setups claim + 270whp.

BFD IMHO!

I could have drove an extra 30 minutes to a happy dyno to inflate my numbers if I wanted to...

Your idc's would be through the roof if your pump was going also you would notice a significant dip in your dyno graph were it was running to lean and loosing power.

Thanks for that information lsj.

I did not spray at all. I don't plan on spraying until I get my fuel pump issue figured out.

Sean - I believe my fuel pump isn't slowly like going out, its basically cutting on and off. Do you have any idea what would do that? I'm assuming there is a fuse for the fuel pump, I am going to make sure there is nothing tapped into that.

I will let you guys know the out come of things.
