Dynoed the Harrop again today
Well since the GM bash in OH the weather was about 30 degrees colder, I had somewhat of a better tune, and also running the meth injection for the first time so that kinda threw things off a bit
I'm still running the 75mm pulley, only getting 91% duty cycle, about 20.6PSI
The dyno was on a dynapack dyno thats the kind that your wheel hubs bolt to, no rollers
Laid down 282.7hp and 254.8 tq, keep in mind this is on stock timing and at 11.3AFR, so theres some room for improvement
I'm strongly considering moving to the 80mm as many have stated to do so for a car thats running a stock motor.
Some good things, NOT one touch of knock at all in the entire run and IAT2 never exceeded 135, weather was in the 60s today with light rain

hmmm i would of expected alot more... but im sure your just getting into it as your tune sounds a little "rough around the edges"
when you say stock timing do you mean stock stage 2 timing or STOCK timing... i assume your running a stage 2 tune with only the injector table modified for 60's? ohh and anything over 80% idc is not good...

282.7hp seems kind of disheartning, almost makes me want to give up on a future tvs and just put the car on the bottle after the motor is built.
But then again dyno #'s are pointless, every dyno is different. But like ralliartist practically said, track times are what matters

well, I dunno how good of a driver he is. Considering that no one has went 12's with the tvs, it doesn't look promising. I'm just curious about the trap speed. If he traps well over 110mph, then I would be happy if I was him.
With a trap speed that high, he SHOULD run 12's easily though, but once again, why hasn't anyone else?

But there's a difference, he can swap pulleys, make a more aggressive tune and surpass what the M62 will do. And the M62's making those numbers are far more modded then what this guy has I'm sure.

The tune is far from aggressive I know theres alot to be picked up in it. Ive added alot of new things so its going to take some time to set up.
I'm sure theres M62 cars running 282whp but I can almost promise you none of them are doing it under 134 IAT2 at 7000rpm
i have a fujita intake, 60s and zzp header, downpipe and exhaust all 3 inch and leaking
im sure with a head and cams id pick up a bunch too and run the 75mm more effectively
Sorry to disappoint but the track isnt happening until i get rid of this 9100 credit card debt because i need axles clutch and drag radials thats not happening anytime soon. Maybe in a year or two

I don't remember reading anything about your cooling mods in the past, but I'm sure you've heard all about that by now. I'm getting almost everything possible for cooling, so I can benefit from more timing in the long run. I have the 80mm on mine, so you might be dealing with the chokepoint on the intake side of the head because of the added airflow.

if he or anyone else traps 110 mph and gets a 13 second pass, that just means they had a crappy launch. wheel spin, hop, etc

Problem with doing that is as soon as I shift into 2nd at 7000rpm I spin the **** out of 2nd, if you let off the throttle then your wasting your time even being there.
A 13.9 at 110mph with gross 60fts would mean absolutely nothing to me

The above will do one of two things.
Prove that you don't have a tune for methanol injection.
Or it will create so much knock that you will cry. I am guessing the 1st since your tune isn't aggressive. However, the iat2's will be much higher. If you add more timing, the methanol really comes in handy.
I hope to hell that's what he is talking about, because if I ever run out of methanol and im at full boost, it will be a sad sad day for my car.
