Has anybody ported the inlet/outlet of the TVS yet?
Im sure it would be hard to cut into the 3K blower you put on your car but I was just curious

Would be pointless, the blower was designed to far exceed prior units. The inlet is taylored to fit the ls4 tb and the outlet is very large and has a great deal of design put into it.

The supercharger is far from being the bottleneck in making more power. The head and cams are limiting me quite a bit but I have other things on the car that need replaced far more
need brakes, wheels, coilovers, clutch, axles, drag radials and a whole lot of time to pay off all the stuff I bought this year

I am not saying that the TVS couldn't make more power with head work cause that is true of almost any engine setup right.

I know this is far-fetched, but is there anyone on here that is designing their own concept of an intake manifold that would cool better but also help cut down on the stress on the engine? Our supercharged setup is way different than others, not being mounted on top of the block, so I wonder if it's possible?

Matt, let me know if you still want these DR's. I have to unload them so I'll let them go for a steal. 225 local pick up. BFG's mounted and balanced on 17" Catarena wheels ready to bolt on for track days.

Trust me I understand. Just hit me up if you want them. My offer stands to you @ 225. You know anyone who would want my balt? Its up for grabs a few more days before it goes back to the dealer. Rather have someone local ****** it up for a good price then a dealer's turn around on it.

ain't i a stinker.
and that is with a boost leak as well. go figure.
to the person questioning the tvs on a stock block. to my knowledge, only on person has barfed a motor, and that was raven ss.
the rest of us who still run the tvs have run anywhere from 17 psi to 28+ psi. my car has seen 26 psi on a stock motor, sans springs and retainers.
as far as breaking 300. some of us have done it on a box stock motor and blower. others have used a ported blower to do it. someone else used cams to do it {me}. precautions must be in place to sustain it as well. it goes the same route as the turbo cars as well. some live. some die.
there is what 10-12 tvs cars now? close to the same amount of turbo cars. which set up blows up more? oh thats right, the stock blower cars do

I think you guys are full of ****, the 80mm is just flat out weaker, the car feels noticeably weaker. I fail to see how any amount of timing is going to make up for this kinda power loss

i put down 342 whp 3 times in a row with that pulley on pump gas and meth. going from 18 degree's to 24+ degree's of timing is a 20+ hp difference. go a head and go back to cramming 26psi through a stock head and see how far it gets you.
