Those 2 mufflers would sound about the same as the Magnaflow or any other straight through muffler.

The big Dynomax turbo will flow plenty for the LSJ.

The butt dyno didn't notice a difference at all. It would make sense if i did lose some flow, but that would depend on the "terminal" flow of the chambered design. I think I'd have to be making a lot more power for it to hold me back.

I've been running the super turbo for a while now and I love it as well. As far a my exhaust, I've got the Clear Image mid length header, 3" dp, and 3" cat back to the super turbo. I had the magnaflow and the VT series b4 the super turbo and both of those were too loud for my taste. Dynomax super turbo

Guys who are running the Superturbo, I just blew out part of mine. One of the metal plates inside that directs exhaust flow around broke in half. It got wedged near the exit and was making a horrible sound. Luckily I was able to fish/hammer it out, but in the future the other half will probably break loose too.

Yep, stainless works is the only way to go for a turbo style muffler.

I just put a super turbo on my car 06 ss sc and it sounds great I just welded it up one side was offset and the other center It did not have any directional signs on it lol so I assume it was reverseable?? either way I think it sounds great.

They sell a bunch of other systems without mufflers, just call and ask, I'm sure they'd have no problem doing it and also it would cost less.

Stainless works FTW installed mine and I can hear my supercharger whine again. And so quiet at cruising and just a low rumble when you on that gas!!!
Here is the muffler without the stainless packing.

Thats the chambered style, they also have a straight through style thats like a magna flow thats they call a turbo style. That style above is what I've always refereed to as a turbo style and there is no packing involved in that style.

You are incorrect about the Packing here is the info from there site!!!!

Thats weird, no-one else's turbo style mufflers have packing. It not like any of us care about that style anyways, too much restriction.

Again read this post its about the Super Turbo style chambered muffler whether its the Stainless works or the dynomax super turbo. Oh the dynomax has fiberglass packing read from dynomax site. If you want a straight through muffler thats great but some of dont want it loud and all the resonance. The chambered mufflers flow much better than stock.
