E85 and 91 mix

ok guys i want to know if i do a 50/50 split would it run fine with my car just wondering ive ran 100 oct at drag and ran a good bit better just wondering or maybe even 70/30 i think it would be right around 100oct because e85 is 108 oct for az thanks guys for your help

no, e85 requires more fuel. and if you are not tuned for e85 or race gas, dont bother. you are wasting your money

True. And also you would have to make sure you mixed the ratio exactly right every time or else your tune would be way off...that is, after you tuned for it in the first place.

You'd obviously have to tune for it.

You'd have to have a way to get your mix dead on everytime or your tune would be off.

It is possible though

lol

the mix is easy just look at how many gal your putting in id put 5 e85 and 5 91 which would ball park me in 100 oct which is what im looking for

also e85 is a lot cheaper then 91 just to let you know so id be saving money lol e85 is like 185 and 91 is 270 =(

It won't work out well for you since A) you aren't tuned for it (like those guys said) and B) you are adding octane through ethanol, which burns more rapidly so you would likely need bigger injectors.

Different stoich value, no blending tables, trying to mix it is just a bad idea.
