I am doing the same as him but I backed mine down to 24 up to 25. I read and talked with other guys that say any more then 25 you will do damage to your engine. With E85 you probly could run 30 and not see any knock but doesnt mean you should.

The problem with running more timing then 25 degrees is that it's not really worth the added risk. The difference between 20 degrees and 25 is massive, however the difference between 25 and 30 is not, the extra added risk is what you have to deal with.

I got my tvs last night, got her all bolted down, had a few issues but everything is good to go now. Currently on a 2.9, 60lbers and 93 pump gas. Not pushing it hard at all. I think I am going to skip over the 80lbers completely and go for the 1000cc injectors. From what I hear nowadays they are making them plug and play. I was maxing the 80lbers out with the 2.7 pulley easily, so hopefully these 1000cc injectors will give me all of the fuel that I need, especially when I drop below a 2.7.

Absolutely loving it, sorry I dipped out the other night but getting back at 2:30 am was bad enough after being up all damn day and driving 6hrs round trip lol. Next time I'm out your way we can get together and cruise for sure. Soon I will be on the 1000cc injectors with e85, I am really excited =D.

which 1000cc injectors do you plan on using? I was also considering upgrading to the 1000's
