**** it must be shauns mad tuning skills maybe we are 340 hp.........................
3.0/42's full bolt ons and cooling lol.
mines whatever it was set on when the interceptor came from aeroforce. i tend to not dwell on dyno, or fake dyno, #'s anyways.
What do you have done to your car? That sounds way off ....
There is an adjustment on the HP parameter. Mine is set at 1.00 which means there is no adjustment. It's the raw out put number calculated. If it's set at say 1.05 it adds 5% to the number it calculates. Check to see what yours is set at (even though I'm sure you don't care). Aeroforce and others I've spoken to on their forum said they came pretty close to their actual power output. To get the most accurate number from the HP parameter they claim you need to know the MAF value of your car.

Sadly...
Good thing old 04redline stories from back in the day are coming in handy.
100 octane plus 5gph w/ 100% meth outta do the trick.
Then again... his 04 was a freak of nature. He was able to take 27* on a 50/50 mix and 91 octane @ 12.4 afr PAST 6500 RPM. My 07 cobalt can only take 24-24.5* @ 12.4 afr past 6500 rpm on the same meth nozzle setup. I'm even spraying directly into the manifold... It's the curse of the 07 models... :/
Best way to describe that 04 of his...."GRUMPY OLD MAN" lol

I agree that it's more like 12%-13%, but no one knows for sure.
I made 256whp on a 2.99 pulley last fall, but I did have exhaust mods. So a 2.9 def. pushes enough air to produce 250whp+. Actually a guy on here made 291whp with a 2.9 pulley, but he had a hell of a lot more mods than the OP. People think 42's cant handle much, but they actually can when the tune is setup correctly.
Once again 265whp is just a number you are stating that is needed for 300bhp, when in reality no one really knows what it is. I'm not saying youre wrong, but it's really a guessing game unless we know the exact driveline loss of a SS/SC.

Ebristol I'm going to try and see if I can beat your impressive Dyno in a few weeks here gotta finish dialing the car in and get time to go to the dyno
And damnit exsoccer I can't stop staring at your sig lol

It's hilarious how off track this thread has become from people getting confused on the actual topic
The OP was asking the quickest way to get to 300 BHP ..... not 300 WHP. Now this thread has become a battle of what you need to obtain 300 WHP. So typical of Cobaltss.net.

Note that I said he had a lot of mods .... I was simply giving an example of what a 2.9 pulley is capable of.

Plus if you pass me then it will give me some motivation to start working on my car again! lol

If your talking about the 2.9" E85 car I tuned, Tyler only had Exhaust, HE, E85 and a tune.
I certainly encourage you do to that. A probably built E85 car will have no problem making 290whp. It takes a good tune to go beyond that.

Just to clarify my mods are ZZP midlength combo, cutout, air box mod, 80's, 2.9, HE, and E85. If you add it up I have spent just over 1K on mods and got 291.9whp on 23* of timing. I hoping to hit 300 without an intake.

your interceptor is lying to you
i remember in 06 when 300 whp was reached on a 2.5 and 42lbs injectors with a safc and a maft and stupid idc and we had to make our own injector harnes and it was long before hptuners hab balt support dynos arent an absolute in the numbers a car produces at the wheels it is more of a tuning tool then anything you all are getting to hung up on numbers in the end what matters is a time slip and who sees your tail lights

That's how things were done back in the day on these cars, haha.
I cant really say .... Every car is different.
A stock car with simple bolt ons like youve stated will usually put down 220-225whp on average.

Wow, thats it? I was hoping atleast 230 ish or so? I thought our cars were underated? Ive seen stock one's make 212-218 stock, so i figured those mods would help, but atleast she breathes better. I would get a better increase with those mods if i installed a stage 2 and a heat exchanger,,,,no? Would i hit the 260 mark?

hell stock i did 231/205 and then after all my modding on the same dyno i did 273/250. a 42/45 gain from what i did stock. but a 73/50 gain from what some others do stock.
