Electric Power Steering - FUSE!

I was wondering if my car were on of those that came out wrong from fabric about the power steering, but I discover that my EPS fuse (2 Amp) was fried. I went out immediately to get one new but just found of 3 Amps. So my question is, would it work this Fuse of 3 Amp...Please help me out.

I wouldn't. People always tend to forget that the job of a fuse is to prevent fires.
