Moved to a 2.8" supercharger pulley, but need a new belt. I have tried every local store I can think of. Any ideas on where to get one??

I wasn't too hard... I'm running the ZZP tensioner and the 3 idler pully from Intense on my setup. I have a 2.6 pulley and have the setting on the tightest and no slippage.

The only thing the ZZP tensioner doesn't have is a place to put a wrench like the stock tensioner to adjust it. I had to push down on the tensioner really hard and hold it, while a friend slipped the belt on. It was a pain to get it on, but once done it removed all the slack and no more slipping belt.

Your belt still slips?!??!!?!? Are you sure its not something else slipping, aka clutch. Because I haven't heard of any slippage with a 2.6" here and the 3" idler.

Pat,

Nope... not since I put the zzp and 3 inch idler I had no belt slippage. Clutch was a different story at the track. I need to break it in more. It was hard to determine and I only noticed it after I put the 2.6 on.

I know it was the belt because I would notice my boost would go down 1lb at 6000+rpm and noticed some knock retard on topend. I had a weak tensioner from the factory... had the stock belt slipping when I put a 2.8 on. After I installed the zzp tensioner, went back for another run and logged some more data.... the slippage was gone and 1lb of boost was back with zero knock retard on top.

The tensionner is great set at the tightest with the 2.6". If someone plan to go to a 2.5" sueprcharger pulley, maybe you will have to combine it to a bigger idler pulley to be sure the belt doesn't slip.
