Enthusiasts and vendors alike... header testing inside!

I'm assuming you have a custom header... sweetness! That would be interesting to see what it would account for. Like I mentioned earlier, I could send you a replacement for the time being before you took yours off so it would be a swap for you as well. The downtime would be minimized to a matter of hours, if that. Same day swap type deal.
and i am REALLY interested to see what the JBP throws out...they have a habit of not telling the truth lately..so we shall see lol
im betting clear image header will show a good amount of gain if not the most, alot of r&d went into their stuff and it works GREAT

you'd be surprised how strong the car feels with it on right now. If there is more to free up as far as flow, then I'll be ecstatic. My car's acceleration is crazy now as it is.

Measuring the length of each of the runners was an idea that was thrown around between Joe (my tuner) and I, and it seems that it is in the interest of a few here, so we will do that: measured from inside the runner to make sure the length is as precise as possible and the collector isn't accidentally accounted for. Thanks for bringing that up.
Block off the head flange of the header and pure water into the collector making sure to measure the amount of water being poured and make sure you only pure water in one runner. Keep track of the amount of water poured into each runner. Then using the diameter of the runner you should be able to figure out the length by the amount of water in each runner.
If anything it will give you a real quick way of determining if the runners are equal length.

A smart guy once told me an easy way to measure runner length using water.

I am trying to clear the air, so people can understand the strengths of what the vendors have offered to us. I would also like to get them involved in this, but I don't know whether that'll happen or not.

not sure.
it would be cool to see the whole community involved in this. I'm not going to lie, i'm awaiting results from the JBP personally, simply because it looks so awesome back there next to the firewall.

I had it on but I've never seen it in person. After the dyno is done on the stock one, the jbp will be swapped in next. I'll drive it for a week, get info and then dyno it that saturday.
