It must be nice to have all the help! Kudos to them. Wish I could help contribute, although, I have 2.2 w/ the small pacesetter.... Still like to see the numbers GL with all.

here we go...
Today, I got the car (Heidy) on the dyno. Strapped in and ready to go, we ran the first of what was supposed to be three runs with the jbp header. After the first run, I had to ask the dyno operator if the numbers were correct. I took another look at the plotted graph, and the crossover point was accurate as I could see. We then noticed that in the upper range the car was running a full point leaner than the target afr.
The numbers were a lot lower than I expected them to be, but being a full point leaner than the stock header probably meant there was a big exhaust leak somewhere. When I say lower than expected, think stock ss/tc numbers stock. Everyone that has one of this type of header knows the pains dealing with them.
When I assembled it, the gap between the downpipe and catback was almost an inch. I had to pull the exhaust further up to get them to mate together, and more than likely that's where it's coming from. I decided to do another pull so it could be on video that it was done today. Since it was running a point lean, I only wanted to go to 7 grand for the video. the run was done, and it will be posted in here in a few minutes. After the operator let off the throttle though, the motor went psycho and just shut off.
It seemed like the car hit a wall the way it shut off. We checked the hp tuners logs, and the same thing resulted. The car was a full point lean again, but just shut off after the run. We let it sit a few minutes, and tried to start it, but the engine would just bog down and quit. Thinking maybe the battery just needed to be unhooked, I went to the trunk and noticed my meth tank was completely out. Problem is that the tank was half full prior to getting there.
The fitting coming off the pump had worked itself loose, and there was meth all over my trunk. Battery was disconnected, meth was cleaned up, and car was tried again. Car still wouldn't start. Something told me to look under the car, and there was meth leaking from the catback/dp connection.
WTF?
My tuner Joe went back to check the pump, and it was in a runaway state. Even with the car off, the pump kept running and basically flooded out my engine. It also worked itself down to my maf sensor and had an adverse effect on it. We took the fuse out of the meth assembly, and started the car again. It took a few tries but eventually, she started to run again..., but she wasn't happy. When the connection started leaking, it could have worked itself on to the meth controller and shorted it out, causing it to stay on.
If you think the car sounds mean with the header on, it sounds cammed with meth in the engine. Over time the motor either pumped it out or burned it up, so she's good now. Unfortunately, I can't say the test is valid due to the meth situation coming up. I'm still debating on showing the dyno sheet, but I want to post real numbers, so we will find the culprit for this and get it back on the dyno. I'm even exploring adjusting the catback flange (hahn) so it will match up better.
We're looking at doing this again on saturday if everything works out in the next few days.
Sorry.

It's just frustrating that it was "judgment day" and my meth line decided to drop it's draws. My bigger concern is the meth situation. Hopefully it just got wet, and when it dries off, problem solved.
I could still benefit from using your pacesetter. It would be something extra for this comparo. If everything works out, I'll be able to do one a week with no issue. This one is the problem though.

I'll send you some info offline when I get it from Joe.
that header is cursed. when I put the videos up, you'll hear in the second video how the car sounded at the end of the pull.

i think mine sounds decent right now. header, stock dp, and 2 resonators with no muffler. ******* hahn muffler is done for and makes the car sound raspy as hell because of the **** rattling around in there.

I don't think the numbers should be posted until the problem is fixed and the tests rerun. Throwing the numbers up now would not be beneficial, or fair, to anybody. The last thing that anybody should do is get these numbers and try to use them as fact. We all that would happen on this forum.

ebristol, i"ll pm you in a bit.
Hopefully, on saturday I'll be able to do it again, and I'll post dynos from both days. Just be patient.
