As of now, the meth controller is in place and working, meth is in the tank, and we are set up for tomorrow at 9 a.m. I will try to get the info up as quickly as possible, but I will be swapping to the vibrant setup before I get the chance to post up numbers. Look for info around late afternoon tomorrow.

Wish me luck.

I know! I know! I've seen the dyno sheet too. I'm not going to tell, but I will say that the numbers are gonna shock some people.

Here you go...

I'm gonna let this sit and fester for a little bit before I explain why it did so poorly.

What was stock power again?

OH wait nvm its on there haha.

Stock was 321/254 and the JBP was 262/219, wow talk about a huge decrease! Was timing changed at all?

What was stock timing and what was timing with jbp? Obviously changing the timing is going to affect the power, how many degrees was it dropped?

Pickles - I am assuming that it was JBP's poor designing method with all of the sharp bends and the timing changes.

What I posted before was sae corrected numbers. That's what I posted in the dyno thread since it's more realistic. I was just comparing the two and forgot to switch things back to sae so that is what the numbers would look like if standard. that also means that I could have picked up a few more places on that thread as well.

The timing had to be toned down since I was seeing up to 6 degrees of knock up high. The car would fall flat on it's ass up top, and I'm not about to sacrifice my engine to get a few more ponies.

poor design, my mods done to the rest of the powerplant, afr errors caused by the flow of air, and the lack of useable timing caused this to happen.

It was coming from running to much timing .

Edit: ya what he said.

PSS: I still wanna know how much timing was dropped lol.

I C. I was just making sure that it wasn't damage caused on the last run.....

primary no.1 being within 1/16" of the no.3 and 4.

about six degrees across the board past 5500 rpm.

no damage done, but it's more than noticeable that the car was much slower.

So if you figure 2hp per degree of timing thats 12hp, take the difference of 59hp and subtract 12 from it and you get 47hp DECREASE from running this header compared to stock lol.

Thats an easy way to sum it up, but we can definetely see that the drawbacks of this header are more complicated than we all expected.

Some of us expected it and that's why were not running the JBP lol. However I never expected THAT much of a decrease from just a header.
