I need a new flex section for my DP, anyone got any ideas of where I can get a good one? The first one lasted 1.5 years, which I figured was ok, it was leaking for a long time before it got bad. I bought a new flex and had a fabricator at my job weld it up, maybe 4 months ago, **** started leaking bad yesterday after I changed out the gasket on the end of the DP.

Has anyone bought a flex pipe, if so where, and how has it held up? Mine keep melting inside.

I had one that looked like this, I think it was Vibrant, not sure.

I have a stock flex, and 3 hole plate, (new) no cat or downpipe you can build your own,PM me ifyou want, I think the ZZP stainless is a much better part but more $

Nah, I have a spare stock downpipe if I wanted to do that. The stock one narrows down to about 2" inside, I need 3" all the way through this time, even the cat-back. Thanks though.

i've been looking at aftermarket flex pipe as well since i've started to see leaking out of mine. I believe the double walled interlock stainless steel flex pipes are the best you can get and don't cause a whistling sound which my cheap aftermarket one does on my weapon-r header.

I just go to my local parts store. When you by a flex section however, make sure you buy the kind that had the reinforced sectioned piece inside of it so the flex pipe doesn't expand inward blocking airflow.

Parks Automotive in Charleston literally has miles of exhaust parts. I walked back there with my buddy that works there and there is literally a 3 fricken story warehouse of exhausts and parts!

i believe thats the kind that i have on mine and its still starting to come apart, the interlock i've found on ebay and at zzperformance. Its a little more heavy duty and doesn't have such dramatic rippling inside the exhaust tubing. here's some links

I think the one I used for the Integra is made by Dynomax or Walker. I can't remeber off the top of my head, but I've put it through hell and it's been holding up fine.
