Thank you. It just doesnt sound like a sealed unit when it makes all those 'extra' unwanted noises and pops, ya know. It wasn't until I welded up the system on my 2000 Z28 that it had a smooth sound up and down.

the crackle only happens when your in second gear going say about 45 mph and instead of constant throttle you let the throttle go without touching it, and your coasting in second gear decelarating in high rpms to low rpms thats why its crackling

Its not limited to one single gear....
You will most likely hear it when you are in an area that is reflecting sound back towards you and when you are in either shifting from 1st to second or second to 3rd depending on how high your RPMs were at shift, and can also hear it when coasting out while in gear. Its especially pronounced while rolling in first down a hill and slowing down.

For those wondering about the header and downpipe helping, in my setup it doesnt.
I have the gm upgraded header, 3" XTC downpipe, highflow, and 3" Vibrant exhaust. Its SUPER loud. Im not really really happy with it, but I got a good deal on it. At low rpms' its great, but its otherwise kinda ricey and ALWAYS pops loud when i let off. When im getting off the free way i'll down shift and it pops a million times.
I had turbo charged dodge avenger before my balt, 2.5 dp -high flow-2.5 out.
You could hear the turbo spooling loud and clear and hear the blow off vavle loud.
My car now you can barely hear the supercharger and only at HIGH rpms, due to the loud exhaust.
I have an injen intake and stage 2 so before my exhaust was on the car the supercharger was VERY loud...its just my exhaust is deafening now.
