A few questions about adding a turbo to a SS/SC 06+ stage 2/3 questions

I know it's stupid because you could get a 2008+. However me and my wife wanted to buy the car outright and didn't watch to spend over 11k(since it's our 3rd car) so right now we could not go the extra 4k for a 2008+. Anyway maybe down the road like 1-3 years I would like to add a turbo but I had a few questions about the car.

If we chose to add a turbo is the supercharger removed?

Also would it be best to go to a stage 2 or 3 kit+pulley first then do the turbo later?

We really got the car to save gas milage but anything in the 22+ range is okay with us. We get about 30 now with the car I see with a stage 2 you'll get even better milage what about with a stage 3 do you still get better milage and is the stage 3 THAT much better then the 2 to warrent the money?

thanks to those who respond

Yes the Supercharger is removed.
It would be best to probably stay stock until you are ready to get the turbo.

I don't think the Stage 3 is worth it, and I also don't think you will get better gas mileage.

Thanks, Okay. So it's best to wait and just put a turbo on the car then. So would it be better to just upgrade the stage on the supercharger or actually go to the turbo.. would I see that much better performance? The thing is i REALLY love the sound of a turbo so thats a huge bonus for me but if i'm not going to see better performance then a supercharger with a stage 2 or 3 it's pointless.

You will most likely make more power with the turbocharger. So, in my opinion, don't waste money on the stage kits if you plan on going turbo later on.

If you want to stay supercharged and make some good power look at a TVS.
But if you want that lovely sound of a turbo, then save up (don't mod the SS/SC) and eventually get the turbo with everything you need.

Thanks alot. I believe that's what I'll end up doing. I'm not after huge performance really maybe in the 300hp range or so. What kind of price am I looking around for saving up for? 2k-3k?
