So before you modify a seemingly brand new car, remember, this is the risk you are taking.

I hope everything works out for you though. Good luck fighting with GM.

I don't think the entire motor would be bad. If I recall, the blocks are sleeved, so if you break a piston, that's the only thing you break. Just get a stronger Head gasket, head studs, forged pistons, and valve springs, and you'll be good till 600hp. Then you can add that 200 shot of nos you keep talking about, lol.

By the way, the title of this thread either sounds like a really bad Steven Segal movie or a really good porno movie.

LOL

Were you getting any knock prior to blowing the motor? I'd hope everyone who is heavily modding their motor or putting on parts that mess with a/f ratio are investing in guages... Personally I have a scan guage and an AEM eugo so I know what's going on at all time. Next I need a data logger.

Selfinflictionpopped atleast 2 stock head gaskets. I thinkhe said the first was at 24 psi and the second was around 22-24. He was prototyping something at the time, but I think it fell through after the second gasket and the cracked piston.

If you are keeping your mods, I would get a cometic gasket and some Eagle head studs and call it good.

I already have the Cometic headgasket and Golden Eagle headstuds, installed by yours truely, so I should be set for a decent amount of power. We'll soon find out though. I also have talked with Selfinfliction a few times, and he wouldn't release the setup specifics to me, but 24 psi or so on the blower he was prototyping was looking for some blown stock headgaskets!
