I don't think the entire motor would be bad. If I recall, the blocks are sleeved, so if you break a piston, that's the only thing you break. Just get a stronger Head gasket, head studs,forged pistons, and valve springs, and you'll be good till 600hp. Then you can add that 200 shot of nos you keep talking about, lol.

Were you getting any knock prior to blowing the motor? I'd hope everyone who is heavily modding their motor or putting on parts that mess with a/f ratio are investing in guages... Personally I have a scan guage and an AEM eugo so I know what's going on at all time. Next I need a data logger.

Selfinfliction and I have blown engines, and a few others have followed as well. Mine happened as well at normal driving without boost being involved. All I had was an intake when mine blew though. It just plain sucks!
