Fluid in heat exchanger disappearing?
I can't seem to figure out where my h/e fluid is going. I loose a good amount of fluid and I can't find a single leak, it's the zzp stage 3 h/e. I am running straight distilled water, I have been filling it up for about 3 weeks now.
Another thing I notice is a dex-cool burning smell, but my coolant tank level hasn't moved.
Any ideas? I'm stumped.

The only thing I have ever taken off in that area was the supercharger to press the pulley hub on for stage 2 and that was 3 months ago without a problem. I put my stage 3 kit on without taking the blower off and these problems pop up.

is there any sputter when u get on it? any smoke? could be a laminova core starting to leak a little maybe..also if u have clear tubing they expand and contract for awhile..i have clear tubing on mine and it took over a month to finally get them to stop and i lost alot of coolant when it was doing that..so go through and check all ur clamps a couple times after u drive ur car

your 100% positive there is no leak? no puddles, no drips? if i were you i would try using dexcool or some sort of coolant and looking for a leak. the reason i say use coolant is because coolant will dry up and leave a redish (or watever color the coolant is) puss from where the leak is and its pretty easy to spot.

If I were you I would check Laminova Core Seal. It's possible leak, maybe that Laminova Core Seal break. You gotta take out the intake manifold out to check it out. I am sure you are overflowing the intake manifold and you are running antifreeze into your engine. It can cause damage to your engine. Check it out right away.

Anyways back on topic, car is running perfect as long as I keep the heat exchanger full of water. Every few days I add about a pint of water in the system. No smoke, no misfires on the interceptor.
Currently running stage 3 with a 2.7, IAT's stay around 90-95 when driving, 120-125 after a good pull
