getting more power need some traction info...
I am getting the OTTP kit and I am going to need to get some traction stuff done... The only real thing I've seen so far on this site is the Ingalls dampner, but my question is with that will you notice more in car vibration? I am unsure of what it really is/does all I know is in my last car I got new motor mounts that made the whole thing vibrate and it was redic.
Any info on the ingalls would be great, or any other semi cheap mods to keep the wheels on the ground would be great too. Thanks.

yeah the stage 2 mounts... no wheel hop and very little vibes.. i have full motor mouts , trany mounts, Everything poly so i know how vibes feel. but ott2 rotated mounts are great for little vibes and great traction.

you should be more worried bout snapping your axels with the power youre gonna be putting down. the ingalls is ok but isnt gonna cure your wheel hop problem, and wheel hop is not something you want, especially on these cars. like everyone else, and myself, said the rotated tranny mounts are the way to go. but to answer your question, yes ingalls will make a difference but not how you want it to make a difference

Ingal's is teh weaksauce, trust me I have own, lol
You wanna kill wheelhop, you hafta to do the mounts, period
You can run an Ingals on the stock upper upper. Poly or ottp for the lowers and that will help tons
CABs also help.
And as others have said be careful on the axles.
If the do snap check my how to on installing real halfshafts (CABs also)

You still have two more areas of soft mount (lower + rear trans) that are of major concern and cause your wheel hop
I run Ingal's ETD, Intense Poly trans mounts + CABs, DSS level 2 axles. The vibes are there, but they are worth the improvement in drivertrain firmness and security
But I can dump the clutch and just roast em, no hop, just rubber, that lovely smell of rubber
Don't try this on stock mounts or with an Ingal's and any kind of good power mod
Actually, do, and youtube it, then buy the spare axle in my sig link, lol

What exactly snaps axles? I mean I am getting the OTTP kit is it really putting down enough power to snap axles?
Are the stage 1 tranny mounts going to be better than the ingalls still? I want very very very very very very little to no vibrations in the car... Like I said my last experience with stiffer mounts really made me sick..

Without knowing your supporting mods, driving style, and whether or not you track your car it's hard to say if you'll have any problems or not.
But, our stock axles taper to a shear point just inside the outer C.V. where all that I have seen, have failed at.

If you never launch your car hard or drive it the way it was meant to be,, you should be fine, lol.
I personally like the ability to confidently lay into my car if and when such an occasion may arise
I personally recommend all Cobalt owners who mod to upgrade the trans mounts, but do what you gotta do man.
If you want minimal vibes just get the rotated mounts and thank us later. You gotta pay to play.

ok i got a question. Made another thread for my TVS Build up and couple people mentioned something so ill just see what everyone thinks instead of making a new through. Not considering a thread jack cuz it could help this guy also.
I have a Ingalls TD....awesome on the street but on the track there is wheel hop. I just orderd the TTR Solid Engine Mount and the OTTP Stage 2 Rotated Tranny Mounts. Couple guys are saying the engine mount and rotated mount wont work together. Something about the tranny mounts change the placement of the engine? Which doesnt make sense to me cuz the stock engine mount would still fit. Then someone said people had to do some fabbing on the TTR engine mount...if so what was it? thanks
