I did notice a difference with the GM manifold. It wasn't a HUGE difference, but I could feel the car pull slightly harder in all gears.

The manifold with a good downpipe should have some good gains.

actually the gm manifold is worthless

to have it cover warranty u will need to purchase it from them and have them put it on...

and if u buy an aftermarket header and downpipe it will only void the exaust warranty... its not going to make your engine blow up or your electronics stop working..

my advice is save the money... get a real header and downpipe and install it yourself

best header and downpipe is cti pricey but worth it

I am installing my GMPP manifold myself which i got cheap from the group buy. I should never have problems with warranty due to the fact that they did not install it because they wont know its not the original manifold.

lol the gm mani is not worthless, install it yourself and the dealer will never know. They both look identical! A gm manni, 3" DP and a 2.5 exhaust is an outstanding combo. I do agree that the gm manni doesnt compare to a CTI race header, but some people like to keep things under wrapps! A shiny header in cali is a big no no, for instance.

i wouldnt say worthless, its actually proven to increase hp and torque, and considering its quality and low price its a great way to go. It doesnt need to be purchased from them but it does need to be installed by them, but even then im not sure if they have to do that be how would they know, do they attach something to your vin or ammend your warrenty(WHO KNOWS?) anyway 30%more airflow isnt worthless.

well if you are wanting to keep warranty you are not going to buy a new downpipe and you are going to get the performance exaust 2.25

i just figure if your wanting to be faster y not take the smartest routes instead of spending over a grand (gmp header exaust and install) for like 10-20 horse and if you want to keep most of your warranty pretty much only do stage 2 and then aftermarket cai, header, downpipe, and exaust otherwise just save your money and stay stock

the only gm performance part that i like is the stage 2 kit otherwise the other stuff is crap in my eyes...

my motto is go big or go home

Hmm, I see your point. Go big or go home huh...Well would you consider a cobalt hitting 12s with the factory warnity still intact a good option. I ran a 13.6 on stock bald tires. I don't even have all of the GMP parts yet. With drag radials and a finished product of an all GM Performance Cobalt SS/SC hitting 12s I think is a big accoplishment.
