Well my car is going in for this as well as my driver side door interior handle is clicking. Silversscoupe which number do you have that you said are listed above. Are they the 12614059 and 12614066? Which one are the wrong ones?

OK I think I understand. The Stage 2 tune puts these part #'s in. They are the 12614060 and 12614065. My TIS sheet states I have these, BUT my redline is 6500 and I only get 12.5psi of boost so whats wrong? The tune didnt fully take?

Now that I think about it, those numbers might be for an '05. I can't remember if those numbers are from OniMirage's car of BACK2GM's car. There is a difference. Eitherway talk to your dealer, preferably the tech to get this resolved. I would try to print out that last document to show what the car should be tuned to do. You don't have the proper tune for the injectors and they need to do something about it before it causes serious problem. You will also love the new found power that you currently lack.

So you are saying the 060 and 065 data files are incorrect or out dated for an '06 Stage II install? Mine was flashed 04/13/07

When I had my stage 2 done they put a sticker with the flash authorization # on the install instruction sheet. Also pretty sure the part no for the flash is on the first or second page of the installation sheet.
Your work order for the install from the dealer has it listed as well.

You probably just got the reflash for the idle problems etc...

GM sometimes ***** up when flashing your car. you need to tell them that your car didn't take the reflash to the ECU, that it's a common problem and that they should reflash you to the stage 2 tune. There should be no problems, because the kit's under warranty for a year.

Now that I have carefully read all the text above it appears that the data file numbers in the SELECTED heading are the correct ones .Does anyone agree with that?

Well seems like the shop foreman wants to know where I got my info from about the redline rpm and boost psi. Sounds like he doesnt know what he is talking about and wants me to do the work. Kinda funny though but ticking me off.

There must be some way to get incompetent ***** like that fired. He's got a computer, tell him to use it for something besides playing solitaire. And remember,it takes four hundred and thirty seven facial muscles to for a smile, but only two to reach out and bitch slap somebody.

Well got the car back and I have the 7000rpm redline. My boost is just below 14 which I think is due to my altitude of 4400ft. It has a lot more power it seems which was measured by the butt dyne LOL.

Glad it's fixed! On a side note, on this site: http://tis2web.service.gm.com/tis2web What does the stage 2 tune itself come up as? I've been looking at mine was wondering if it's just the codes listed on omimirages other thread.

I have had the exact problem as a few people stated before. I had my stage 2 installed about a month ago. First thing I noticed was the sluggish take off from 1st. Then I tried to red line it in 1st...there is no 7k redline. As soon as I press the gas my car jerks or seems like it is having trouble getting up. Another major thing I noticed is when i hit about 3200 RPMs in certain gears it starts bucking at random times. I know its messed up. I took it back to the dealer and they looked at me like I didn't know what I was talking about. He told me to bring back the information from the internet. Showing what I am talking about. I have red the forum and I am wondering do I need just the sheet with the updated codes that shows the two changes or is there anything else I need to show him proof I know what the hell I am talking about. I am extremely disappointed with their service right now. I am not suppose to know more about this than the freaking dealership.

I had the same thing happen to mine. My dealer THREW AWAY the sheet that had the Flash code on it. They said that all the ones that they have done in the past didnt need that number.. I argued with them. Needless to say I NEVER got the correct flash. I was running my car with no mechanical issues just a CEL about running rich in bank 1.
They documented it on the Vehicle history that they didnt do the correct flash and told me that if anything happened they would Deff. cover it under warranty....

Trying to get the VCI# with out that code is a bitch. The dealer called thier Tech line and they wouldnt give them the VCI# with out the code. The Tech told them that he was the guy that put it in and gave them his ID# and they STILL wouldnt give it to him.
If you still have the Paperwork that came with the Kit you should be good.. If not Good luck

So did you ever get it reflashed for stage 2 or are you still running the tune it came with from the factory?

They took my instruction sheets and didn't even give me the pulley puller or anything. Screw the dealership. I am taking my car to a custom tuner. This is starting to look like $900 dollars flushed down the drain. Its better to just go all after market. I am beginning to hate Chevy. My car runs slower with the stage 2 in right now. So you are saying if I don't have the sheets with the code I am screwed? Whats the choice then? Buy another kit just to get the code or what????

Have the dealer buy a stage one to stage 2 update kit and get the vci off of that . They screwed up , they should make it right .
