GMPP Stage 3
Is anyone running the full Stage 3 yet? Is anyone running any of the stuff? I actually plan on doing this within the next several months and just want to get some details on it from people using it.

Dude i dont get pissed off very often, but **** you. start your own damn thread if you have to say something. why the **** would you hijack a thread that has nothing to do with your little bitch-fest. You are hear trying to tell everyone of your injustice, when you are doing the site injustice by screwing over an entire thread made by someone looking for information. you deserve to be banned you ass jockey.

I think alot of people are using the dual pass thing from stage 3 on here. On the other forums some people have the full kit I think. redline forums.com
Unless you are going with nitrous stage 3 from gm seems like a waste of money

I wonder if its worth the $$. Probably not... Dont even know what HP gains youre supposed to see or what components it comes with ( i.e. fuel injectors, what size pulley, etc. ). Ive heard 260, but whooptie doo.

I have the stage 3 pulley on, and will be doing the dual pass mod as soon as it warms up a bit. I would never buy the entire kit, unless you were planning on running 100 octane and Nitrous which is what the PCM is good for. I MAY get a 74mm pulley to put on at some point in time, but I would like to get HPtuners so I could tune the car for it first.

^^^ its only a 2.9 and is perfectly fine with the GMPP stage 2 tune because that is what the stage 3 runs on until 100 octane mode is enabled. crate engine depot has the entire kit for 574 right now. i can see an easy 25 whp with the 100 octane mode enabled, along with the 2.9 on a car with full exhaust. also remember this PCM is probably a breeze to take off and put on and no dealer will recognize the 2.9 so warranty will most likely never be voided. i think its well worth 574. i plan on running 100 octane gas when i go to the track

stu i was thinking about getting it but it only bumps you up 7 hp using pump gas and to me thats not worth 600 dollars , i mean yea they give you a tune for 100 octane and nitrous but you cant change the tunes on the pcm via hp tuners bc there locked i think its good if thats the last thing your ever gonna do to your car

so thats well over a grand to pump out 260hp, and still void the warranty. to me, it doesnt really seem worth it. there are a few decent features but nothing worth that amount of cash in my eyes...

i can def. see why someone who hasnt gone stage 2 would see that. but seeing as how i am already stage 2, and that i can change out the pcm in a matter of seconds, i think its well worth it
