Gmpp Stage 3 Questions
has anyone here installed gmpp stage 3 and option b aftercooler?
I found GM parts direct sells the S3 for $572. and CED sells the Option B for $96...but not sure how difficult this is to install. Also would any gm tech even notice the upgrade to void the warranty, not sure if anyone has had this experience.
can you really feel the +20HP gain with the 100 octane? any elaboration on these topics would be great.

i have ridden in a stage 3 car, he wasn't running 100 octane in it though. With the smaller pulley it feels a tiny bit quicker, hard to really notice. I think the pulley is supposed to add about 10 horses and the 100 octane mode allows for about 10 more HP above that, I just wish i could have seen what it was like. The car was hooked up with i believe a 50 shot of Nitrous though and that made a HELL of a difference (30 extra whp easy).
Oh yeah, i just installed option B, its not as hard as people think for installation, but I haven't had time to see gains yet. I have heard option B is well worth it though. I bought the dual pass and surge tank seperately from CED and ended up spending probably an extra $100 for parts and supplies to create my option B. (3 90 degree bends, 2 T-3ways and bunch of hose, clamps and other supplies)

I have GMPP Stage 3 option B (actually with ZZP 2.9 pulley) and the gain with 100 octane is noticably different then stage 2 ( without he high octane mode it is not that different than stage 2 but my cluthc could be crap by now so who knows) Then install for me sucked because the instructions they give suck.
I have now put away the ECU for the fall/ winter because I feel there is no need for it. I will put it back once I put nitrous on it.
I can't tell but everyone tells me that it was the right thing to do when modding.
I would lioke to run someone with just stage 2 on the highway becasue I heard that with option B it will pull harder.
I have had intstalled for about 6,000 miles so far and so good.
I plan on doing the GM build once the warranty is up. I have the pistons already just need the rest.
