Going to ZZP Tomorrow

OK Need some advice.

My buddy James (Delta 2.2) and I are leaving around 7am to head out to ZZP tomorrow.

I'm having them install the ZZP Intercooler/Heat exchanger, 60# injectors, tune and dyno.

My question to you guys is what will give me more power going with a 2.7" or 2.8" pulley with that set up.

I have there Header and downpipe already on the car with a full 3" cat back magnaflow as well just an FYI.

and Will I need a Duel Pass Endplate if I have them install there heat exchanger/ intercooler?

I'd stick with a 2.8 for safety. Then get all the traction and cooling mods on the market.

If you want some power, pulley down.

you dont need a dual pass, but for like 100 bucks or what ever it is, more cooling the better?

How much faster would a 2.7" make me over the 2.8"??

Duel pass is $179 something around there.

Not much faster and it will mostly just add heat. Which will hurt longevity and horsepower between back to back runs.

Sounds like someone has a little sand in their vaj-jay over CSS.

I would go with a 2.8". ZZP sells dual pass endplates for $100. Although they may not have any cores in stock right now. You can never have enough cooling mods.

i think you should 2.8 pulley with 50% 1st gear boost reduction and like 20% in the begging rev's of 2nd gear when at WOT... idk just an idea to hold traction

Fyi, seecarclub.net is an awesome resource where tons of people with a lot of people with knowledge about this car hang out.

Now my one question to you, if your already tuned by 06black, why dumb your tune down by goin with zzp dyno tune?

if you limit boost in 2nd, it limits it for the rest of the gears as well iirc

Because 06Black isn't going to be able to gewt to my car the same day I throw the 2.8"or 2.7" pulley on there and 60#er's. Plus they have a dyno. 06Black will be double checking there tune and everything they doo to my car HOPEFULLY when he gets some free time hes an insanely busy guy.

just 2.5 the car. sweet jesus.

you want power just like me, thus this 2.7 will last a few weeks and then you'll be back looking for a 2.5

just do it now and save us both some time and hassle.

if you get this done tomorrow, I'll be able to tune.

do not put a 2.5 on. Even a 2.7 is pushing the blower really hard.
