Is this a good clutch?

Is this a good clutch?


I cant find this clutch anywhere for my 05 cobalt ss/sc, but its a sachs typ m 240 and i jus bought the engine and it came with it, wondering if it was a good clutch or what

I think the only company with the reddish pressure plate is Southbend, as the Spec clutch is blue and the KY clutch is black(at least in all the pictures). So it is a decent clutch. As to whether you should use a previously used clutch of unknown mileage/condition, that's another story. Best bet would be to just get a new clutch.

Probly should have, barely a month of driving and the clutch is slipping bad, any way to tell from that picture if i should buy a whole new clutch kit or just the disc?

Im planning on trying to get around 400whp (turbo swaping) but not for a while, i havent got my car dynod yet so i dont know how much whp i have but i basically have a zzp stage 3 kit with a 2.8" pully on it right now will that clutch be good for what i have until i go turbo?

yea that clutch will be great for your power levels now, it will likely live for quite a while with the turbo swap.

^ this and if you are in Canada i would check the price at your local dealer first, i was able to get the same price for it but in CAD. if not crate engine depot is the place to go.
