Goodies??

i am sure this has been posted. I tried searching and there was tons of h/e threads but anyway. I am in the process of putting my dual endplate and opt b kit on as well as the zzp h/e. Now are we talking a good noticeable difference? I can understand I need the h/e but is the dual endplate a waste of time cause I swore I saw it was pointless unless running a 2.7 or 2.6.
Car has a stg 2 and a 2.9 and eventually 60's and a 2.8

Any info is appreciated

Dude... dual pass pointless for 2.6, let alone 2.7?? Deffinatly the wrong way to think.

A heat exchanger doesnt make you faster. It just stops things from going badly. which in turn may allow your engine to use more power.

The more cooling the merrier.

Always...

Its always good to do a cooling mod. The option B is pretty sweet, and the dual pass just makes sure things are a little more constant.

You aren't going to notice a power difference unless you do multiple pulls, or back to back pulls. Basically what the heat exchanger and dual pass end plate does is help prevent heat soak. You will always have heat soak, but the cooling mods help prevent it. Currently you can do 1 pull before losing power, after that, on your 2nd pull you lose we will say 5hp, on your 3rd, 10hp, etc. If you grab the h/e and the dual pass end plate, it will allow you to keep the hp that you currently have. It does not GAIN you hp, it allows you to use what you have.

I have all 3 of the mods, meth, h/e, and dual pass with option b. I highly recommend the meth. Meth is very addicting however, but it is the best cooling mod on the market. You will need a tune for it unless you choose to run just distilled water. A nice mixture though of meth/h2o will keep the iat2's down and help with any detonation there might be.
