guys help me

ok so today i installed my 2.8 and 60s and an ottp stg2 pcm. after all that it started right up. runs good, idles good. everything is fine. well i went on about by buisness for the today. then when i went out at night i got on it cause i hadnt tested it yet. i was going about45 or 50 in 3rd gear and punched. not totally to the floor but i gave her some juice. it rose about 10 mph and to about 5500 rpms and bam. all the sudden it took a nose dive and the dash said eng pwr reduced. i know that thats limp mode.. well after 3 or 4 turn off and ons, it came out of limp mode and was fine the rest of the way home, but i didnt get on it.. what put it into limp mode? what will fix it? and if it has any effect which i believe it does, after i put the stg kit on it threw code 315 which means i need a crank angle relearn. is this making my car run so rich that its going into protect mode??

get the crank learn done and if its the ottp stage upgrade for the 60's you will be fine. if you are just adding 60's and not tunned you will continue to have problems.

It shouldn't be the case relearn doin that. I raced a mustang gt the first night I installed my ottp stage 2... Past 5500rpm without a single problem. It was also throwing the P0315 code, I think it might be something else puttin it in limp mode. But definatly have it go through a relearn tho for the code.

No, i had a pcm shipped from ottp and i went to the dealer and got a case relearn and never had a problem.
its something you should do with a new pcm.
not saying it will solve your problems but if you do it and it still acts up you kno its something else.
