it's not that you make more power. Not every mod you do will yield more power (i.e. adding a bigger h/e). There is a difference, however, in making more horsepower, and making more "safer" horsepower. Stu's mod, like option B or getting bigger heat exchangers, allows you to make SAFER horsepower. In other words, it allows your supercharger to be cooled more efficiently so that you can make more extreme mods to your car without causing any damage.

yes and no. you are not making more power, correct there. however, if you reduce the IAT's enough you could theoretically be allowed to run more timing, or a smaller pulley with possibly similar IAT's that were on the bigger pulley before. reducing heat soak is a MUST in these cars.
In other words, i concur, but i'm too bull-headed to admit it

just run the input line to the tank from the top of the stock endplate. out line from tank goes to input on H/E. two holes over on the passenger side that you will have to drill after you mock up the tank to see exactly where they need to go.

Hey stu when you mounted the tank how does that piece of metal for mounting attach to the tank? I have your kit and I don't see how it works do I bend the metal bracket?

so u have like a straight flow tank..... its not just a catch/expansion tank, its pretty much a tank with an inlet and outlet and is an actual part of the system instead of a "reserviour"...... i think thats how u spell it
