To tell you the truth MattMan....The only reason stu is charging so much and it's not listed for free in a how to is because of dicks like you....The few ruin it for the many....R and d mattman? What does your rl do in the 1\4? I think stu has more than proven himself worthy on here which is much more than I can say for you...Jeesh people.

One question that I have is why don't you add a nipple fitting on the stock heat exchanger in place of the bleeder valve and one on the cooler box and connect the two. That will fix any bleeding issues that any one has. Thats pretty much all the option B kit does and if you do that on this tank you will have the best of both worlds and people will stop comparing the two.

Really what this boils down to is that he will charge you $160 for him to do this for you. If you don't like it don't buy it from him. Can you build it cheaper? YES! Do I think he is ripping people off NOT AT ALL! People that buy this from him know exactly what they are getting and there is plenty of info for them to do it them selves and save cash. They feel its a fare price so there is no need to be negative. I would spend my time and build myself one but there is no way in hell that I am going to waste all this time building units for others, so give the man some credit for helping people out.

stu is great his car is fast his product works, end of story... hell i know a few people who have custom parts on thier cobalts and i for one have a few one off custom parts on my car.
i dont wanna make them for other people, i know someone who does, but its up to them to come out with a price and all that.

But taking something that costs maybe 60 dollars at the most to fabricate and ship and charging 160 dollars for it. You are making quite a bit of profit for something that you have stated yourself that might leak and might need more sealant to keep it from leaking anymore.
I am in no way bashing your mod...I just find it hard to believe how you can charge people that much money for something that cost so little to make and design. You would think..for the amount of money your selling it you would use a tank that isn't 8 bucks at autozone.
Another thing that I don't understand is the fact that you said by removing the line from the stock filler neck it reduces heat soak...Because isn't that line already coming out of the IC and is heatsoaked and hot already?
