ah ok i got it now, he may be taking jabs at ottp, that's why he won't post any words.

hey don't all the ZZP threads get deleted when people talk **** about them? so if ZZP is talking ****, shouldn't this thread be deleted too?

looks like a case of ZZP can dish it out, but they can't be man enough to have people's threads bashing zzp, left on the forum and not deleted.

The only people who have threads deleted is TTR.

I'm not saying any more on this subject.

Looks like ZZP does offer a bar and plate Heat exchanger. As stated the S1 and S2 look to be bar and plate. Well, people want cheap they get cheap. OTTP and ZZP are just giving people what they want I suppose. If a good one is too expensive, " just give me the generic equivelant" lol.

Some explanation would be nice. Whose h/e is that? What are we supposed to be looking at?

Rippin, you and the last two posters are on it. I run one HE, its in the stock location, it is made by Griffin down in the Carolina's, (they make the OEM h/e,) they make it based on their own unique core design, and it tested better than the Ron Davis one I prototyped. It costs 700 bucks, and its 1.5 inches thick thats x 2 the stock HE.

Rippin said it: "want cheap they get cheap". And ZZP posted the information on their web site...good for them...

It's amazing how a picture of some products with no words can already cause so much hate and bashing...

Every thread I put up turns into a bitch fest and any type of 'bash' on a vendor will get deleted. So I figurd if I just put up pics of two heat exchangers, users can have the conversation themselves. You don't need me to explain the flaws of a design or the benefits of another when something is this noticeable. If I did point anything out, I'd just be called a liar by the haters anyway. For the newbs, you can get info from the more experienced members who can comment on the pros and cons of said items.

I've said before and stand by it. ZZP makes the best parts, producing the highest HP and fastest track times. When people want the best, they buy ZZP. When they want to brag about their mod list instead of their times/HP, they can buy other stuff.

For those of you who can't decipher the picture, this is what I make of it:

The left and top heat exchangers are the ZZP stage 1/2 and OTT core. It's bar and plate, as you can tell. It's interesting seeing the divider in the end tanks.

The ZZP stage 3 is on the right and end tank looks like it is sealed better (the partition, that is). There are also more passages on the ZZP stage 3 core, as you can tell.

Close, the ZZP S1&2 are of similar design to what's shown as they are bar/plate & made in china. The left and top pics are the *new OTT Gen 3 HE. The old OTT/ZZP S2 doesn't have the divider issue but the other details of using bar/plate are the same.

Can't really compare a fully stripped, caged, and built race car to one that gets driven to the track...

What's the first rule of motorsports? Someone is always faster than you...

I dont see hate and bashing; you posted the information on your web site, good for you. Based on what you say, a second h/e aint worth much. I am in violent agreement with that statement.

Not all of your parts are brilliant: the 2 bolt downpipe is an example. But who cares? folks dont have to buy them.

This is not hating, its a fact: Whitfield and Ballard's fwd 'balts are much faster than any of your cars .

And some of us dont care about 1/4 mile times, road racing is more attractive. Come on.....
