Well that is prolly pretty smart.... I am thinking of dropping to a 2.80" but Area47 tells me I am good where I am... I would like the extra torque of lowering pulleys.... but eh, oh well!

Compare HE and HE with dual pass end plate and you will see cooler temps.
some of what you said makes sense.
but some of its a bit off.
the stock H/E is doing its job efficiently, yes, but that doesnt mean theres "no need for another one"
10-15* drops in IAT2s are obvious proof of that.
if the stock h/e was enough, those kinds of results would never be possible.
both of them combined is obviously the best choice.
but this thread isnt about whether this guy should buy both
its H/E VS Dual Pass.
Not only does the secondary H/E seem to provide more effective measurable results....but its alot cheaper.

get aluminum to make them. then them welded on. best way.
I got an after market unit off a ebay user. no one bought it. I ended up emailing him and made a private purchase for the the HE and pump for $175. this is a great deal. the HE is an after market unit that is a dual pass that would sell for $275 alone! it increases the capacity to help a SVT cobra so imagine how much it helps us. Our HE is a dual pass then the Aftermarket HE is dual pass as well! and you almost double your Fluid capacity which then resists heat soak much better. in a way it is cool!(bad punn I know LOL).
on that note though a stock SVT cobra is not bad. I just held out for the Aftermarket unit. funny thing was it never made it onto my car. KENNYSPEC has it and from his experience it works very well. Bigger capacity bottle is needed though. as the fluid heats up it expands. the little bottle was designed for stock 1.5L capacity (it is around that might be more though). so double or triple the over flow capacity should be more than adequate. you just need an over flow bottle.
