Help!!! cant get stock sc pulley off!!!

so I have crap lying everywhere. I have a 3 finger puller that sucks ass. and I don't know how to get this done tonight, I realize a press would be best, but no one I know has one. Is there a better puller you can rent from autozone?, I don't want to put everything back on just to take it off again tomorrow. I tried hard, even had some help, but I don't want to strip the threads on the shaft. any ideas. my **** is lying everywhere as I type this!

Never use a 3 jaw puller on a supercharger. Get a pulley puller. Smoothflow pullies sells them.

Then you would know a 3 jaw puller will not get the pulley off.

it's possible with a 3-jaw puller, but just wait and do it with a press. Not worth damaging the blower.

Find a local guy with a pulley puller. Do you have any friends with GTP's? I believe they used a press in the build book.

Apparently his 3 jaw puller did not work so you are wrong.

Actually, one of our guys used a 3-jaw at work to do a pulley swap I BELIEVE. He just bent the stock pulley, but he managed to remove it. No other damage was done.

Still not worth the risk IMO.

No, you would cook the grease out of the snout and damage the seals way before you got the pulley hot enough.

Yes, I went down to an independent shop (they are always willing), took about 10 minutes and $20 to swap the pulleys for me!, sweet it was cheaper than renting a pulley removal tool. Tuffy was "understaffed" so they couldn't take 10 mins, to do the pulley swap for me even though I secretly think they are just retarded. the stage 2 belt I had was super tight and I couldn't even get it over the pulley correctly even with adjusting the tensioner. I used the stock belt for it and it works pretty good. I like the louder whine and the more power!
