I really hope brian pulls through on this and does it right. Looks like he's doing some really nice work. I'm NOT bringing drama here, just want to poke my head in to see the progress

no harm taken, atleast not on my part, i have informed brian of the heat the m62 makes and the #1 concern is to get them IAT2's down lower than what dual pass can, making this a good option for the eco's looking into upgrading, or those looking into sc'n(non sc's)...w/better cooling there would be more gains in going smaller than 2.8...

while cooling is definitely a big issue, dont forget flow rates are a biig one for the TVS crowd. the biggest issue TVS people have with the stock IM is it is hard for the stock IM to cool the sheer volume of air the TVS throws at it, as the laminovas create a restriction, increasing boost (and therefore heat) in themselves. (that is the theory anyway). My biggest concern is making the new IM flow well enough so that it is in no way a restriction for the TVS's airflow volumes.

I could be wrong, but you might want some sort of restriction past the intercooler so the air slows down long enough to cool down. If it flows to fast past the cooler, the temps might not drop enough? But then again, to much resistance causes heat itself. Just thinking out loud, don't mind me

You are some what correct. A small interference to slow down the air is beneficial for cooling, but only in a small amount. To much restriction and you'll start to heat soak. Not enough of a restriction and it won't have been cooled down enough. The advantage here is that they are using a real intercooler core, which will be very efficient and cooling the air.

This manifold plus a good heat exchanger and a good surge tank, will give IAT2's that will far surpass anything else out there. Add some ice and you'll be looking at IAT2's lower then IAT1's.

Very interested. Will we need to get a tune for this manifold?(Sorry if anyone asked this already.) Maybe I can get this for myself for my birthday in September. ;-)

you will more than likley be able to run the manifold without a tune, however to optimise the gains you will need tuning, as with any mod.

I hope it works as planed I've been selling mine for a while and Freakta's AIT2's where less then his AIT1 it worked so well. Right now I'm working on optimizing the Bypass for the supercharger to give my customers way better improved gas milage I'm talking in the 40MPG's I've already got costumers in the high 30's. You might want to think about direct injecting METH as well, just something I do...

Meth taps will be available as a option...how or where is up to the customer, like most intake manifolds, they will be built to order...mainly bc although people say they want it, like all high cost items, only a few will commit to a buy...

Ps my set up will have 2 Post intercooler meth taps running the ais dual nozzles
