I didn't seem like it took that long to whip one up for the ld9. Am I going to have to go to go out in the garage and fire up the old hobart?

There is more to it than just cutting and welding.
I'm assuming vulcan ran into the same issues I had.... in which case, your looking at about 40-80 design hours to work out a solution.... either that or deal with uneven flow again.

I understand all that I'm just anxious. I would like to know however why this cannot be like a longtube that wraps back up to the head.

the intercooling system is taking up a lot of time right now....ghrr...we were already beat at releasing it by OEM, but the reason is bc theirs is a non intercooled manifold, which make no sense if you want to run anything smaller than stock pulley...so we're not to worried about them right now...but the intercooling system is taking more time than anticipated

longer runner means more distance for the air to travel, which means slower throttle and boost response...

I wouldn't think so. It'd also help with cooling.

hmmm, kinda conservative there with the pulley size. Makes me wonder if the news isn't too good?

wtf does that have to do with you not testing this on a 2.6? I'd like to see this manifold be able to cool anything thrown at it.

i've got an idea about how to cool the air charge without the intercooler system you guys are trying to figure out. just send me an intake manifold with the runners or whatever it is you're working on. and i'll have iat2's like you would with an intake, killer chiller, option b, h/e, dual pass, and meth.
