Thumbs down high rpm misfire

names josh, had my cobalt for a few months and been on css.net reading forums but now
i've got a problem that idk how to fix so i joined today lol.

I've got a silver 06 supercharged cobalt and when i first got the car it ran fine but now
its got a skip from about 5k rpms up.

its got a gm stage 2 kit, injen CAI, and a no name cat-back that sounds like a legit fart can and i hate it.
I replaced the plugs and the coils, cleaned the air filter, and changed where i fill up but still no change.

whats my next step? injectors? leak-down test?

gap them down to .035 and adjust from there. You want the widest possible gap before misfires

That'll probably take care of it. My NGK's were gapped all over the place from the factory.

Wayyyy to big!!

They should be around 0.035" if you are stock or lightly modded.

Heavily modded cars run well with a gap around 0.032".
